A perfectly-engineered night out, where science meets comedy, music and more!

Join us for ‘The Wonders 200’; the bicentenary edition of UCL Engineering’s award-winning live theatre showcase. Expect an evening of inspiration, innovation and laughter, where science meets comedy, music and more, in a special celebration of University College London’s 200th anniversary! 

Expect an accessible 90-minute glimpse into the breadth of UCL’s engineering science; offering fascinating insights into new crime fighting methods and the wonders of materials science, through natured-inspired engineering and tomorrow’s revolutionary robotics - all with an added sparkle of showbiz mirth and magic.

Special guest host – Robin Ince

Hosting the show will be comedian, actor, writer, presenter and UK science entertainment pioneer, Robin Ince (“Nine Lessons and Carols for Curious People” and “The Infinite Monkey Cage”).

The event will be produced by world leading creators of science entertainment, The Cosmic Shambles Network.

Come early - get involved

From 5pm, you can warm up for the main show with “The Wonders Interactive”; an exhibition of engineering magic, in the Bloomsbury Studio. Spaces are limited, so it’s “first come, first served” … and be prepared to say “wow”!
